Back from the holiday break, the Blinc members are geared up for yet another productive semester. We are pleased to welcome a handful of new members and excited launch new research projects!
A Productive Fall for the BLINC Lab
It has been another productive fall semester for the BlincLab. This past semester was packed full of participant trials, conferences and manuscript preparations. Looking forward to the winter term.
Great Summer in the Lab!
BLINC Lab members had a busy and productive summer. Highlights included attending and presenting at MEC 2014 in Fredericton in August, resulting in some great conversations and collaborations. Honours of “highest ranked papers” announced for Ann Edwards for her submission “Adaptive Switching in Practice: Improving Myoelectric Prosthesis Performance through Reinforcement Learning” in the signal processing stream, and Dr. Jacqueline Hebert for “Comparative Sensory Outcomes for Three Transhumeral Targeted Reinnervation Cases” in “other” stream. Looking forward to a busy and active fall as our lab renovations finish!
BLINC Lab Members to Attend MEC’14
Members of the BLINC Lab have been accepted for 6 podium presentations at MEC’14 Myoelectric Controls Symposium at the University of New Brunswick, August 18-22, 2014. The team is excited and looking forward to interacting with some of the world’s best researchers in the field at this interdisciplinary symposium.
