Trinity Thai (B.Sc. Student)

Trinity has been working at the BLINC Lab as an undergraduate researcher under the supervision of Dr. Jacqueline Hebert and Dr. Patrick Pilarski. She is currently pursuing a BSc in Computing Science with Specialization. Trinity’s research involves developing slip detection in the PowerHand, using fingertip sensors capable of detecting simultaneous normal and shear force from UBC’s Molecular Mechatronics Lab.

Prior to her involvement with the BLINC Lab, Trinity contributed to two research projects. With the Hamza Lab, she analyzed the feedback exchange between doctors and residents. With a student who was pursuing a PhD in Computing Science, she developed a cozy farming video game.

In her free time, Trinity enjoys rock climbing, jumping horses, and baking!
