Eric Beaudry (B.Sc. Student)

Eric Beaudry is an undergraduate mechanical-biomedical engineering student at the University of Alberta. Eric joined the BLINC Lab in 2020 as a co-op student developing an immersive virtual reality environment to train prosthesis users. The environment will allow patients to conveniently train with a virtual Bento Arm, circumnavigating the typical expenses and time constraints of training with a physical
arm.

In the future, Eric would like to pursue a career in the medical device field, drawing upon his mechanical-biomedical background to improve the lives of others.
Outside of the lab, Eric enjoys powerlifting, photography, and the outdoors. You can often catch him smashing a personal record in the gym or capturing the beauty of the mountains with his camera.
